It's not an easy task to write something about Umeric. It is a lot easier just to push play and see all the great work they have done, lead by Ash and Von. I became intrigued with their visual concepts after they finished the work for the Australia Video Music Awards on 2006.

Right away I wanted to work with them. The first project was a TVC for HP; they were in sync with the brief from the start: their vision paired perfectly with the client and the MTV brand. Afterwards we embarked together in the titanic job of re-branding MTV Australia and gave a new look and feel to the channel.

The result exceeded the expectation not only in the creative process but also in the execution. Several awards and recognition all over the world followed their work.

Our last project together was another huge creative task: MTV Playground with Swatch: many on air pieces, off air, print design and web, all under a consistent and beautiful concept, to encourage young artist around the world to express themselves in several disciplines. I'm just waiting for the next opportunity to work with Umeric and to add another Chinese-Lucky-Cat to their existing collection
