ABOUT

We were approached by Wieden + Kennedy to create a TVC for Nike China's basketball star Yi Jian and his draft to the NBA.

Without using imagery of the athlete, we were asked to visualize the highs and the lows of Yi's life to date.

Set in a darkened basketball court, a ball bounces, splits open and spills out elements which are then replaced by new elements, signifying different stages in his life.
